Cindy de Villiers

MBChB, FRNZCGP, FACNEM

Born in South Africa, Dr Cindy de Villiers completed Medical School at Stellenbosch University in 1990 and achieved fellowships in New Zealand and Australian General Practice and in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. The political response to Covid resulted in a pause in her Fellowship in Anti-aging medicine, which she hopes to be able to travel to the US and resume.

For the last twenty years, she has been upskilling in and exploring Integrative and Personalized Medicine and has developed a personal and professional interest in personal performance optimization and its application to clients with chronic, non-communicable conditions.

Dr Cindy has worked in general practice and acute care for the past thirty years, more recently focussing on her private general practice and integrative medicine clinic. In 2021, along with Dr Tessa Jones, they established the NZDSOS clinic to treat the vaccine injured and provide valid doctor’s certificates for those mandated.

She lives in Nelson with her family and dogs where she enjoys what the great NZ outdoors offers. Besides continually learning, she spends her time on optimising her health by cooking, running and lifting.
