Against My Will: The Devastating Effect on My Life

I was obligated to take the covid vaccine to keep my job in the medical industry. I feel I was made to take the vaccine against my will in a way. I was already concerned with a lack of trials and testing with such an innovative new type of technology, but felt my concerns were on deaf ears. I was informed if I wanted to keep my job I had to take the vaccine.

It has had a devastating effect on my life. It was my third shot and I experienced tingling and numbness in my vaccinated arm and hand within days, leading to loss of function. I lost the fine motor function on my hands for many months and my mother had to do my household chores. I am now permanently part time at my job although I am a lot improved now.

I experienced what I felt may be neurological symptoms, so I went to a neurologist who cleared me of major neurological disease although he said it’s common for post vax people to have these devastating symptoms. Special anti-inflammatory diet has aided me a lot and also herbal supplements. 

I experienced for the first time what it was like to feel alone in the climate of the nation and reached out to the NZSOS doctors. I was disappointed to hear that many doctors are barred from treating patients in person due to a refusal to be covid vaccinated. Ridiculous! I believe their knowledge assisted me to get back on my feet. I feel angry when these doctors are accused of misinformation, I have come to hate that word. I’m not misinformation, I’m a real person with true symptoms and problems that need acknowledgement.

There should be robust scientific dialogue not just a “single source of truth” from Jacinda Ardern with many other scientists, even experts in their field feel pressured not to speak up.
