Retired Helicopter Pilot Reports Increased Emergency Calls
Professional Observation from a Rescue Helicopter Pilot
I am recently retired, having worked 45 years of commercial flying, 25 years in air ambulance – 5 years fixed wing and 20 years on choppers as a primary response pilot. Being thoroughly grounded in risk awareness and management of course I refused the covid “vaccine” so had to leave for about a year. On return I was a revolving reliever around central North Island, and it was soon clear that the number of heart attacks and stroke calls to the 3 bases I worked had gone through the roof, literally. More than 5 times, because the rough average of one per week when I started mid 2019 was now approximately daily. This is very clear to all of us with any experience. I have retired from flying but colleagues see all this too and validate with each other. I know some are worried as, despite initially wanting to refuse most caved to the relentless pressure of mouths to feed, or simply loving their jobs. Thank you for trying to do something.
What surprised me was that this was an experimental drug and every pilot broke the aviation rules partaking. They should have joined together and all refused.
