Writer-Historian Draws Parallels Between NZ Policies and 1930s Germany

My love of philosophy has taught me critical thinking and my love of history has taught me about tyranny, and I watched with incredulity as New Zealand went down the same road in 2020 and 2021 as Germany did in 1933 and 1934—the parallels are numerous and unmistakable to anyone who’s studied the Third Reich, and how incredible it is that the legacy news media haven’t mentioned it! I had never quite believed how quickly the Germans went crazy, and now I was seeing it in New Zealand and I still couldn’t believe it.
