Jason Cluley’s Testimony – RCI Public Hearing | Vaccine Injury Experience
Jason Cluley shares his personal experience with heart problems that developed after covid-19 vaccination during this Royal Commission of Inquiry public hearing from July 2025.
As a support worker for people with spinal injuries, Jason was coerced into being vaccinated to continue caring for his clients. After receiving his vaccines in late 2021 and early 2022, he began experiencing serious cardiac events starting in May 2022.
His first episode occurred while playing soccer – his heart raced rapidly for 30-45 minutes, requiring an ambulance call. This was followed by ongoing palpitations during physical activity and random episodes of dizziness and rapid heartbeat.
The situation escalated to a cardiac arrest in September 2023, resulting in a three-week hospital stay and the implantation of an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator). Since then, he’s experienced multiple life-threatening arrhythmic events where his ICD has had to shock his heart back to normal rhythm.
Each cardiac event triggers a mandatory six-month driving ban, severely impacting his mobility and independence. Jason also struggles with motion sickness, making him reliant on driving himself for transportation.
Despite repeatedly asking healthcare providers about a possible vaccine connection, he was consistently told his condition was likely caused by covid or other viruses. However, Jason notes he didn’t contract covid until 2023, well after his cardiac problems began in 2022.
Jason expresses frustration with the lack of follow-through and support for investigating potential vaccine-related injuries, while acknowledging he’s unsure where to seek answers or assistance for his ongoing health challenges.
This testimony was given during the Royal Commission of Inquiry’s first hearing in July 2025.
