Dentist Chronicles Week of Patient Health Reports
Professional Observation from a Dentist
The first week back after Christmas.
Well I suppose it really started on Saturday morning, when I was at work writing three bereavement cards for my patients- one sudden death, one turbo cancer, both young, one- thank goodness – old and probably natural causes. The first patient on Monday told me of his son having a heart attack post jab, still struggling and completely lost confidence. He is in his forties. In the afternoon we had the mother of a thirty year old who ended up in a wheelchair after one shot. Thank goodness, she is slowly improving with the help of a naturopath. Its taken a year.
Tuesday, we had the patient who has had his cancer return, along with a second tumour. We had a 41 yr old who had spent three weeks in ICU with an aortic dissection post-booster. Her friend, one yr older, suffered a stroke. And we were reminded of the death of a 32 yr old by another patient – the diagnosis , just in, of brain aneurysm. Vascular again.
Wednesday – I saw the radiographer I have known since her school days. She was run off her feet with chest x rays for people suffering chest pain. She said it has been like this for months. And my nurse told me of a friend whose husband had just dropped dead in the kitchen, which he had entered to complement his wife on the smell of her cooking. He was 52, previously healthy.
Thursday, we had another patient report the return of their cancer, another myocarditis, even a guy who has recently started a novovax clinical trial for combined covid plus flu shots. He now has an irregular heart beat and terrible infection. Lunch- I was stopped by a patient telling me how she had recently been to three funerals- two sudden deaths, both heart attacks, both 38 and no previous history. In the afternoon, two more reports of heart attacks and sudden deaths. This week, the first week back, I still have one day to go. And doctors, still, remain baffled. All the way to the bank.
