Safe and Effective? The Covid Years Through the Eyes of a Silenced Doctor

Dear Members of the Royal Commission,  

I am writing to share my experiences and recommendations regarding New Zealand’s Covid-19 response during 2021-2022.

I have been a doctor in New Zealand for decades, and for my own personal health reasons, I chose not to take the novel covid mRNA injectables.

With regards to the use of covid vaccines to manage COVID-19, including the use of mandates, the approval of vaccines, vaccine safety (including monitoring and reporting of adverse reactions):

For decades, there have been various non-pharmaceutical options known to effectively support our natural immunity to prevent us succumbing to infections. These are sunlight, fresh air (lockdown results in the opposite!), sound sleep, decreasing stress (fear-mongering is the antithesis of these!), high dose Vitamin C, high dose Vitamin D, and zinc. There are numerous others with good evidence.

Also, from early covid days, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin were found to be useful against coronaviruses – both were cheap medications which had been used for decades with minimal issues. India’s poor Uttar Pradesh region chose to hand out Ivermectin to its 262 million people instead of the significantly more expensive covid “vaccine” injectables – they fared extremely well, with minimal covid issues. However, this was not celebrated nor publicised around the globe as it should have been!

WHY NOT?                                    

The New Zealand government refused to even mention any of these options, and actually actively suppressed all mention of these options, repeatedly saying that the vaccine would be the only option. Health & medical practitioners were forbidden and censured for even mentioning these options which have been proven to be supportive and helpful!

Leading up to the arrival of the novel covid mRNA injectable, Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin were hastily removed from pharmacy shelves until the mRNA injectable rollout was well and truly underway. The timing was curious (and likely not coincidental). Such medications were freely available over the counter in many countries benefiting from them.

Customs impounded and confiscated Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin if they were purchased from overseas by desperate people who didn’t want to risk their health and lives with the novel covid mRNA injectable, and it was (still is) extremely difficult to retrieve those parcels from New Zealand Customs.

I have since realised that the government’s narrative was necessary in order to gain Medsafe approval for the Pfizer covid mRNA injectable. One can’t help but wonder why it was so imperative to present the injectable as the ONLY solution (which it isn’t!), when every other condition/illness has many treatment/management options and in the past, patients weren’t treated like lepers for choosing another option!

The optics is not helped by the extreme secrecy of the Pfizer contract agreed upon by OUR New Zealand government (which should ONLY be acting in OUR interests and not protecting corporate interests), using OUR MONEY!!! Surely, these facts should automatically make that information publicly available. What business contract/investment would anyone ever approve of if they aren’t told/shown the terms of the contract? Why did OUR government even agree to Pfizer’s atrocious conditions? We the people DEMAND to know what’s in the contract!

WE ARE NOT STUPID SO STOP TREATING US LIKE WE ARE!

In terms of the vaccine mandate:

It has prevented me from getting employment, as it was initially not common knowledge at that time that mandates are not actually legally binding. Certainly, the government implied that they were and threatened employers with shocking disproportionate fines and jail terms! In effect, the mandates were punitive towards those of us with health issues (a significant proportion of the population!) who were rightfully cautious and concerned that the novel Pfizer mRNA injectable (gene-based technology) could have harmed us – as has since been proven to be the case for many people!

The expectation and pressure to take the mRNA injectables were certainly immensely coercive and bullying, and I was especially flabbergasted that the government’s dictates appeared to go unchallenged, and were indeed promoted, by those in the upper echelons of the medical system – a system that professed to be non-discriminatory, kind, compassionate, and here to save lives!

Vaccine exemptions were a lifeline for those with complex pre-existing conditions who did not wish to risk additional adverse reactions to a novel covid mRNA injectable – at least not till there was more data. However, these exemptions became farcical, as they were quickly declared null and void, and that only the Director General of Health (with NO CURRENT CLINICAL EXPERIENCE) was able to issue them – and he approved less than a handful. What a disgusting political move! He was in NO position to know each patient’s medical history and was in NO position to decide on clinical decisions for each patient, which the covid mRNA injectable was! ONLY the patient could make that decision (with support of their own doctor).

There were also some people who just didn’t think that the mRNA injectable was an option they wished, for varied reasons, all carefully considered. Pre-covid, every person was allowed the freedom of choice and autonomy over their health decisions. Come covid and all that changed – the supposed “greater good” (as dictated by the authorities who often had politics or pecuniary gains in mind) trumped any individual’s autonomy.

PLUS those who chose to have the covid mRNA injectable were being praised for being morally superior to those who didn’t, who were subsequently excluded from many normal activities and places, due to the complete misinformation by the government that the unvaccinated were somehow reservoirs of covid infection – WHAT UTTER BOLLOCKS!

The vitriol and overt discrimination from the government, colleagues, and people in general have been beyond belief! Never has there ever been a need for anyone to justify one’s own personal choices about medical treatments – the decision had previously been private and never been open for public scrutiny until the covid era! What occurred was the complete opposite to what was previously fiercely-guarded patient confidentiality – suddenly, everyone had the right to demand to know the medical decisions of everyone else, and that person’s justifications for refusing the mRNA injectables! A 2-tier society was born (or exponentially magnified)…

THIS WAS MEDICAL DISCRIMINATION – HOW HEINOUS!! Where are the laws against discrimination? Completely tossed aside!

Not forgetting the thousands of health professionals “mandated” to get the injectable and then becoming unwell themselves, no longer able to work. And we wonder why the New Zealand health system is struggling…

Plus, our youth who had to get the injectable in order to attend tertiary education, but who subsequently became so unwell that they couldn’t anyway…

And the BRIBERY of people with Kentucky Fried Chicken, movie tickets, vouchers, etc. if they would get the vaccine – that was just disgusting! Any attempts to use bribes to sway people to get medical interventions/treatments are definitely not ethical! I know some people who got 4 or 5 covid jabs from different vaccination places, just to get those freebies (from taxpayer dollars!). And they are now suffering from that…

What has since come to light is that all parliamentary politicians were exempt from covid vaccines at that time, as were around 11,000 within the medical system (mostly bureaucrats).

HOW UTTERLY PUERILE AND TWO-FACED!

The mask mandate was just utter nonsense, where it has been known to doctors and nurses for decades that the blue surgical masks (and cloth ones!) are completely ineffective in stopping air-borne infections. And to insist that in public places, people could remove their masks while eating and drinking but needed to put them on otherwise. If one were truly serious about containing viral spread, just masking up DOES NOTHING! The government and Director General of Health, Ashley Bloomfield, kept saying they were relying on science, but what they were spouting were so obviously bullocks!

I have also witnessed how the mandates divided the confused nation with unscientific fear-mongering by the government and media (including so-called “experts” with undeclared corporate ties, i.e. conflicts of interests) with complete untruths about how masks and vaccines work.

Truly effective vaccines work to protect the one who has had the vaccine so that they would not get the infection even if they were in close contact with someone with the infection. If the vaccinated person becomes unwell despite having had the vaccine, then obviously the vaccine hasn’t worked, and better alternatives should be sought. What truly flabbergasted me was how doctors (who should know better) began touting the nonsense coming from the government that blamed the unvaccinated – even asymptomatic ones – as the cause of covid transmission! That’s just not how vaccines work – or not work!

The fact that covid transmission was not even tested by Pfizer meant that there was no evidence that the Pfizer covid mRNA injectable was effective in stopping transmission. The fact that Pfizer itself had listed 9 pages of adverse effects from their covid mRNA injectable in their initial 2-month trial meant that it was certainly not safe, and Pfizer itself did not claim safety.

The fact that the government repeatedly claimed that the Pfizer covid mRNA injectable was “safe and effective” was a bald-faced marketing lie that even Pfizer did not claim! (And they likely would have if they legally could have!)

Not to mention that just a few years prior, Pfizer was found guilty and fined several Billion US dollars for false claims about several of their products! Not exactly trustworthy…

My family, friends and colleagues were so terrified by the fear-mongering by the government and media, that their normally high intellect became castrated and catatonic, where all their previous scientific knowledge of evidence that directly contrasted with what the government espoused was completely disregarded and subsumed by the fear. It was horrific (and traumatic) for me to watch highly intelligent minds being subverted by fear, and that I was unable to help them overcome their fears with reasoning (which they themselves used to ascribe to!).

And once the stage was set with the created fearful problem of covid, the population was then fed the ONE recommended solution to the problem, i.e. the “safe and effective vaccine” (which has patents preceding the onset of the covid pandemic). And predictably, the population desperately clung to the proffered hope.

The incredible degree of fear engendered by the misinformation and disinformation from the government and mainstream media tore asunder my relationships with many relatives, friends, and colleagues, never to be repaired. It meant society became obviously more intolerant of differences, with a huge loss of respect and empathy for each other as fellow humans, which is especially shocking when witnessed within the medical system towards suffering patients!

Doctors and nurses have been refusing to treat suffering and dying patients unless they were vaccinated – THAT STILL OCCURS AND IS ACTUALLY ILLEGAL! It had never happened before, and doctors had previously been oh so careful NOT to be seen to discriminate against ANYONE for ANY REASON. All of a sudden, it was acceptable and fashionable under the Ardern and Hipkins government!

HOW IS ANY OF THAT OK?         

The things is, all infections can be avoided if good hygiene and Personal Protective Equipment measures are used, as has been the case for decades, so panic and hysteria was completely unnecessary in medical and care facilities, and vaccine mandates were/are completely unnecessary in those settings!

What was more shocking was that later, the then prime minister Chris Hipkins insisted that no one was forced to take the covid mRNA injectables – which is absolute bollocks! Just because no one physically held a gun to each person’s head, doesn’t mean the enormous coercive blackmailing pressures placed on each person to have the covid mRNA injectables wasn’t “force”, because if that person refused the jab, he/she risked losing their livelihood, home, food, family, freedoms, relationships, and communities.

AND WE DO NOT FORGET.

THIS IS WHAT THE NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT ACTIVELY AND RUTHLESSLY PROMOTED, WHILE SMILING AND PRETENDING TO BE CARING AND COMPASSIONATE!!! (It’s enough to make one chunder!)

APPALLINGLY, IT IS STILL HAPPENING.

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TRUST in the New Zealand government corporations, the mainstream media (which is supposed to be independent but is completely captured by corporations), the police and judicial system (which are supposed to be independent of government influence but are so obviously just lackeys to the government corporation), the Medical Industrial Complex (which is part of the Military Industrial Complex), the United Nations and World Health Organisation (which is itself significantly funded by large corporations including the pharmaceutical giants!), large corporations, etc.

Sadly, the fear-mongering psyop had been incredibly effective (so many studies over the decades have shown how this technique works!) and it’s a sad indictment of the state of our beloved society…

There are now thousands of scientific papers showing the harms from the Pfizer mRNA injectable which the government agencies, judiciary and Medical Council of New Zealand farcically refuse to acknowledge. Vaccinators were/are being told NOT to mention to patients (or their parents/carers) about possible adverse effects from the injectable in case it dissuades the patients from having it.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING – COMPLETELY AGAINST THE PRINCIPAL OF INFORMED CONSENT, WHICH HAS BEEN A MAINSTAY OF MEDICAL PRACTICE!

For decades, doctors have been repeatedly trained about how important it is to inform every patient of all risks from any procedure or medication, so that the patient can make an informed choice about the patient’s own health. This is especially true in the increasing climate of litigation against doctors. So for the MCNZ to then turn around and threaten doctors with disciplinary action should we rightly share information about potential harms from the novel covid mRNA injectables (in addition to sharing about its potential benefits) so that patients could make their own decision about whether or not to proceed, THAT was truly shocking for me and my colleagues! As the only registration body for doctors in New Zealand, the threat of potential removal from the MCNZ register meant a threat to our livelihood, in which we have invested many years, effort and costs – it was a vocation, necessitating an all-consuming way of life. To then have the MCNZ threaten us for trying to uphold the essential tenets of “First Do No Harm”, and of “Informed Consent”? The MCNZ who prided itself on maintaining high standards of medical practice? The hypocrisy was truly mind-boggling and unbelievable!

Also, following the exceptionally profitable covid vaccines, global vaccine manufacturers were soon falling over themselves to change all existing vaccines to the harmful mRNA platform (because it’s A LOT CHEAPER to manufacture). This means that my daily work as a GP doctor would entail promoting such questionable injectables to my patients, and my conscience just would not let me.

I just cannot continue in this once-noble profession that has been completely captured by its pharmaceutical overlords, and I am contemplating changing professions, in a country which is supposedly crying out for doctors but won’t employ ethical ones that actually have the welfare of patients at heart and are trying to advocate for those adversely affected by the Pfizer covid mRNA injectable, and the covid measures instigated by our puppet government.

Instead, the MCNZ is strongly persecuting these upstanding compassionate brilliant doctors with a conscience who know a plethora of methods to help their patients, but refuse to bow to nonsense and government over-reach, including corporate over-reach by the MCNZ, which is actually an arm of the International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IAMRA), which is closely affiliated with the Federation of State Medical Board (FSMB) in the USA (so is OUR medical system significantly influenced by the USA?!).

Needless to say, of course I have been experiencing financial hardships due to the vaccine mandates. Although they were purportedly dropped by the government some time ago, it is still a requirement for employees or contractors of medical facilities. I am no longer employable as a doctor without having had the covid mRNA injectables, and I refuse to subject myself to such interventions that I could not, in all conscience, promote to any of my patients (unlike some of my colleagues, who know better but feel shackled by their financial burdens and obligations).

With regards to testing, tracing (like RAT tests), and other public health tools (like masks):

At the outset of the pandemic, the blood test for coronavirus antibodies was available and a very useful measure, especially helpful in identifying those who had a flu-like illness who had had past exposure to a coronavirus infection, and would subsequently be immune to covid. This meant that they wouldn’t need a vaccine.

Pre-covid, all patients were tested for antibody levels for various viruses (e.g. chickenpox, TB) to check if they actually needed a particular vaccine. If they already had the relevant antibodies, then they were immune to that virus and would not need the vaccine. Every intervention/medication has risks from the procedure and its ingredients (including the supposedly inactive ingredients, and also any undeclared/accidental ingredients such as has since been found in the Pfizer covid mRNA injectable). As such, pre-covid, it was common medical practice to avoid/minimise interventions whenever possible. It also saves on costs to the patient, and to those providing the service.

However, once the covid vaccine was announced, the labs withdrew all access to the coronavirus antibody test, which made absolutely no sense! That test would have enabled accurate identification of those who were already immune to covid and didn’t need the vaccine.

Why was the coronavirus antibody blood test withdrawn? It was inexplicable…

Then there was the PCR test for coronavirus. It is only accurate to 27 cycles of magnification, and in New Zealand and globally, labs have been doing the tests in excess of 42 cycles, which give false positive coronavirus results in excess of 80%, even from the presence of yeast and fungi! It’s just ludicrous!

And RAT tests were equally laughable and unreliable!       

How can the government say it bases its decisions on science? But the sad truth is that all who have challenged the government’s stance and narrative have been repeatedly silenced, so that only those who control mainstream media have ultimate control of the narrative, which the populace unfortunately completely believes. There were no open discussions allowed. Mainstream media and social media corporations (Facebook, Google, YouTube, etc.) censored anything different from the global narrative – we could even see all the government puppets and the World Health Organisation parroting identical phrases, it was THAT obvious!

THE CENSORSHIP IS STILL OCCURRING!

How is that different from any other authoritarian country? It’s just less obvious and more insidious in New Zealand (although it is certainly more obvious to more of us now!).

With regards to the vax pass, that is another abomination that should never have happened! More erosion of our autonomy and privacy under the guise of “safety” and “public welfare”. More state monitoring and control of movements.

Isn’t that like China and Russia? But wait, it’s actually not that different from the USA, UK and Australia… what’s happening?

The novel Pfizer covid mRNA injectable was clearly not effective and was obviously a lot more harmful than people have been led to believe, especially as some people were already immune to coronavirus and didn’t need any vaccines for it. Many of those immune people ended up having to get the injectable anyway, in order to keep their jobs, etc., and some of those have had bad adverse effects and can no longer work – such an ironic travesty!

Then there’s the gaslighting of patients with a plethora of debilitating symptoms following the mRNA injectable, where they were not believed, were ridiculed, and discriminated against, especially by the medical establishment! Unbelievable, considering that the MCNZ Code of Conduct for doctors includes not discriminating, and treating patients with respect, etc.!

THIS IS STILL OCCURRING!

AND it has since emerged in Pfizer’s own documents, showing the 9 pages of adverse reactions corresponding to those symptoms now experienced by many! Some of those poor patients (many of whom were nurses, paramedics, doctors, health assistants, teachers, etc.) have been subsequently found to indeed have true medical conditions temporally related to the injectable, where onset of symptoms occurred within minutes, hours, days or weeks, when previously, the patient had been well and without symptoms!

What’s worse is that they have been told by their doctors to keep getting more covid injectables despite them having significant symptoms from previous ones! These patients have had treatment for cancers and surgery withheld, unless they got the covid shot.

There are multiple people I know who have had anaphylactic or significant reactions to the covid mRNA injectable, and have expressed their wish not to have anymore. However, their doctor then advised them to get the next injection anyway, as it could be done in hospital where staff would be on standby to resuscitate them if needed!

This is just absolutely absurd, that any doctor would think to even ask a patient to risk their life again!

Pre-covid, doctors were trained that if a patient had a potentially life-threatening reaction to any intervention or drug, then that treatment is to be avoided if at all possible. So you can see why this change in approach by my colleagues is so appalling and completely flabbergasts me!

Also, in the past, doctors were trained not to exclude off-hand any potential causes of symptoms, especially when onset of symptoms closely followed an intervention or introduction of a new medication. Why is it different in the case of this novel Pfizer covid mRNA injectable? Doctors have been repeatedly told that the “vaccine is safe and effective”, so they are to negate any possibility of symptoms being related to it.

The medical record keeping system also doesn’t allow for coding of such conditions. Codes for conditions are important, because that is how the funding gets allocated according to conditions diagnosed/managed/treated. Without the appropriate codes even existing for these conditions relating to the covid mRNA injectable, then alternate (less accurate) codes have to be used instead, which then doesn’t reveal the true extent of the vaccine injuries, and skews all data collected.

Without the proper identification of cause(s) of any condition, there can be no effective treatment/management. So, without the identification of symptoms being due to the novel covid mRNA injectables, with their many ingredients (declared and undeclared), there can be no targeted treatments to address all those various components.

Even cases which have been reported to the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring have been found to be modified (down-graded) or erased without investigation, or the patient or their doctor being contacted. Unfortunately, this has also occurred in the USA database, VAERS, so global reporting has definitely been compromised.

The longer the New Zealand government, Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) refuse to acknowledge that there are significant harms due to these mRNA injectables (which even Pfizer acknowledged) which continue to be funded and actively promoted (for even babies and pregnant women!), the more people will suffer immeasurably, unnecessarily, and irreversibly. Many have already died from such harms – note the significantly increased all-cause mortality data from many countries now, unexplained by anything else except the introduction of the covid “vaccines”.

There have been links to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, miscarriages/abortions, stillbirths, neonatal deaths, sudden deaths in previously healthy school children soon after the mRNA injectable, Adult Sudden Death Syndrome even among elite athletes (which has become commonplace!), and sudden onset late-stage cancers.

All these need deeper unbiased uncensored investigation – we owe it to our loved ones, our society, our humanity…

With regards to the use of lockdowns in 2021 and 2022, especially the national lockdown in August and September 2021, and the Auckland/Northland extended lockdown in September 2022:

In mid-2021, an elderly relative was rapidly deteriorating from terminal cancer. I travelled from Tauranga to Te Anau to assist her and her husband. I was there when she passed away on 20 August 2021, during the national lockdown of August – September 2021. Her other family and friends were unable to visit her in her final days, which was difficult for her as she was someone who had made so many special connections in her community by bringing much joy and music. It was also not possible to hold a funeral in her honour, as the nearest funeral home was in Winton, over an hour away, and travel of that distance was disallowed during lockdown. Their family and community were unable to offer the collective warmth and support to her widower-husband, which can only be truly felt in person – telephone and video calls just did not cut the mustard!

In my community in Tauranga, that same lockdown greatly disadvantaged so many small local essential businesses which were struggling following the first lockdown in 2020. They continued to be unfairly treated by the restrictions of the lockdowns. These small businesses were the heart of their neighbourhood where people could just walk to their local shops, whereas the nearest supermarket could be many kilometres away! Some of those small businesses just couldn’t survive, their owners also losing their homes and having to move away. I’ve also heard of their suppliers going bankrupt. It was just so nonsensical and short-sighted of the government to punish the small essential businesses which are the backbone of New Zealand, while only benefitting the big corporate ones, many of which are multi-nationals and the profits get siphoned off overseas – talk about the transferring of wealth to big corporations!

Based on my personal experiences only partially shared above (there are many other instances), I recommend the following for future pandemic responses:

1. Preserve fundamental human rights including the right to life, freedom of movement, speech, association and medical choice during any emergency.
2. Ensure ‘advising experts’ have relevant clinical experience, with NO CONFLICTS OF INTEREST, and engage with all opposing views.
3. Prohibit the use of fear-based behavioural psychology tactics to influence the population, and regain sovereignty over New Zealand’s healthcare decisions from global influences.
4. Do not ever mandate medical procedures or impose restrictions.
   
   All medical decisions should be between each patient and their doctor alone, and the government (and politics) or other medical organisations MUST NOT be allowed to influence the patient’s decision, as THEY are the ones bearing the brunt should anything go wrong!
   
   “Informed consent” means full disclosure to each patient of any risks and benefits of any medical intervention or treatment, and how the various interventions and treatment options may relate to each patient’s unique health situation – something that a newly-minted “vaccinator” (who was a hairdresser just the previous week) would have NO IDEA ABOUT!
   
   “Informed consent” also means NO COERCION – which was present in spades with regards to the novel covid mRNA injectable!
   
   And there definitely should not have been any punishments for not having chosen the injectable!
5. Ensure healthcare professionals can freely discuss (and prescribe) all treatment options and raise safety concerns without professional penalties or censorship.
   
   My trust in the government and medical organisations have been completely shattered. Many of my collegial relationships were destroyed due to the harmful narrative that the New Zealand government pursued (albeit aligned with the World Health Organisation). The “us vs them” mentality of the “vaccinated vs the unvaccinated” was divisive in so many aspects and layers (perhaps intentionally so, by those pulling on the puppet strings of the New Zealand government corporation?)
6. Prohibit all lockdowns and utilise the myriad other tools available instead!
   
   Lockdowns have been shown to cause significant harms by isolating people from their loved ones and support network, thus increasing mental health issues. We are social creatures who thrive on connections and deteriorate and die without them. Lockdowns are also hugely detrimental to businesses and the economy, which in turn also adds to fears/anxieties and poor mental health. The children are still getting Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms from all this!
7. Create simple and functional support systems and compensation for those harmed by emergency health measures.
   
   ACC and WINZ need to be hauled over the coals for trying their darnedest to NOT do their job, which is to support those in need.

I strongly believe that this inquiry must have the courage and integrity to confront all areas of concern, and advocate for the people of New Zealand, even if these issues are uncomfortable or politically contentious. I am hopeful that your work will result in detailed recommendations that reflect the true lessons learned and prioritise real health (i.e. not unduly influenced by the pharmaceutical industry or politics), transparency, ethical decision-making, and respect for individual freedoms and rights.

The best way for New Zealand to be prepared for the supposed ‘next pandemic’ is to enable everyone in the population to have robust baseline health i.e. be supported to reverse chronic illness, resolve obesity, quit smoking/vaping, have optimal vitamin D levels, have access to fresh fruit and vegetables, clean water, clean air, the natural environment and sunlight. >80% of all ills are due to lifestyle factors, so A LOT can be done to educate the populace about all this and save significant costs to the New Zealand medical system (and taxpayers).

I recommend that health professionals be trained and supported in providing real health creation and restoration, in addition to disease management based on the pharmaceutical model (which is the only thing that is taught in medical schools in New Zealand, and they have been captured by the pharmaceutical industry since the early 1900s).
