Help NZDSOS Defend the Doctors Who Put Patients First
In August 2025, NZDSOS was ordered to pay $100,000 in court costs for challenging the Medical Council on informed consent and Hastings District Council on water fluoridation. We asked for your help, and you responded. The goal was met in two weeks.
That fund kept us standing. Now the fight has moved to the tribunals.
Dr Caroline Wheeler has been found guilty of professional misconduct for prescribing a legal medicine. Dr Bernard Conlon faces a two-week hearing starting 9 March 2026. Dr Matt Shelton’s tribunal is scheduled for September. They join Peter Canaday, Samantha Bailey, Sophie Febery, Alanna Ratna, Bruce Dooley, and Tracy Chandler – all prosecuted for upholding medical ethics during the covid response.
These proceedings stretch over months and years. Legal representation, expert witnesses, travel, and administrative costs add up. The doctors themselves carry personal costs that go well beyond money. Your contributions to the Legal Defense Fund help ensure they are not standing alone.
Every dollar supports the principle that doctors should be able to advocate for their patients without fear of financial ruin.
