NZ Election 2026: Help Get This Letter into Candidates’ Hands
A Call to Action: Take This Letter to Your Election Candidates
With New Zealand’s general election on Saturday, 7 November 2026 fast approaching, now is the time to ask candidates where they stand on the unanswered questions surrounding the c-19 response.
NZDSOS has written an open letter to MPs and prospective candidates calling for an independent examination of the evidence, proper investigation of people who believe they have been injured and bereaved families, and an end to the dismissal of legitimate questions.
As our letter states: “Political power is a trust, not a shield.” Those seeking public office must be prepared to answer difficult questions, explain their positions and be held accountable for their decisions.
Now is the time for us to put the pressure on and take action. Print off our PDF letter or download it and send a copy electronically to your local MP and election candidates. Ask them to read it, respond to the three requests, and make clear where they stand before you cast your vote.
Don’t let the questions go unanswered. Get the letter into candidates’ hands and make it a starting point for conversation in your community.
Grassroots advocacy starts with each of us.
