Myocarditis Study Disappears as Profitable Product Receives Full Approval

Is the New Zealand Ministry of Health (MoH) hiding something from us and its Minister, Dr Shane Reti?

Our MoH undertook a study into the ‘long term’ effects of post Pfizer covid injection myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) in 2022.  Long term is usually measured in years or decades, not just a few months as in this study.

The results were due to be published in early 2023.  It is now 2024 and there is no sign of any activity. Interestingly however, the status of the covid shots has been elevated to fully approved, so the requirement to study what was then the provisionally consented product may have let  the MoH off the hook, legally at least.

The study aimed to survey 400 people who had been diagnosed with myocarditis post-vaccination up to, and including, 28 Feb 2022.  According to Medsafe’s Safety Report 41, there had been 673 cases of myo- and/or pericarditis reported to it by that date.  However, the study recruited only 323 participants between April and Aug 2022 and all the data from the surveys had been gathered by 10 Oct 2022.

Study participants were over the age of 12 and had to have had their adverse event reported to CARM.  The diagnosis could follow either the first or second dose of Pfizer vaccine.

The three primary outcomes assessed were current health, physical functioning and mental health.  The secondary outcomes to be measured were hospitalisation, cardiac health and aetiology (cause) of the myocarditis.  The data collected was from a single survey taking approximately 30 mins with the affected consumer as well as a separate survey of the consumer’s health care provider.  It did not intend to follow the progress of the participants over time if symptoms had not resolved.

This study is important because damage to the heart muscle cells is significant. These dead cardiomyocytes do not get replaced, instead they lead to scar tissue which has the potential to upset electrical pathways, causing serious arrhythmias, and can cause heart failure as pumping ability declines.

This stalled research was conducted by pharmacist Tim Hanlon of Medsafe in collaboration with the National Immunisation Programme and CARM, which at the time, was part of the NZ Pharmacovigilance Centre at Otago University. (By the way, back in September 2021, in a letter to the Deputy Chief Coroner Anna Tutton,  Dr Hanlon wrote that is was very unlikely that the jabs could cause cancer, despite NZDSOS suggesting otherwise to all officials. Much research since then has proved multiple mechanisms for malignancy, as well as  permanent alteration of the  genome in many jabbed. Medsafe remains in denial, officially at least). NZDSOS has long stopped trusting these people to look out for the public.

The withholding, or even frank alteration, of inconvenient NZ research is not unprecedented here. A published study showing kidney injuries post-mRNA vaccine has gained international attention for having its unfavourable results watered down dramatically, and another vaccine appears to have been nudged along too.

As we have detailed previously the study was mentioned on the MoH website but recently the webpage has been updated and there is now no mention at all of a myocarditis study and no information about when the results will be published.

Why have the findings been hidden for almost a year?  Does it have anything to do with the Pfizer contract?  We cannot let the new government get away with sweeping things under the carpet.  With the news that the Florida Surgeon General is calling for a halt to the covid injection, we demand our new government do the same, pending the promised investigation.
