It’s Dr Alison Goodwin here, writing this Weekly SOS.

Here’s what’s been happening in New Zealand and beyond. The challenges we face are growing, and so too is the importance of taking a stand.

2025 is the year to rally together under the theme #AllHandsOnDeck—calling out harm, demanding accountability, stopping the jabs and sparking conversations with everyone, even those who’d rather not listen.

That’s because groundbreaking peer-reviewed research in Science, Public Health Policy and the Law journal confirms what NZDSOS has been saying to government since 2021.

We’re now united with over 81,000 international medical professionals, 240 elected officials, and 16 professional organisations calling for the removal of c-19 injections. The latest research reveals persistent spike proteins in the bloodstream two years post-injection, supported by yet-to-be-published Yale LISTEN study data.

Now, we’re hearing over eight states in the US this week are reportedly pushing to ban mRNA injections. We need New Zealand officials to do the same.

NZDSOS on X - If it is so safe and effective, then why are these US states looking to ban the mRNA injections?

But the most urgent issue this week is the Gene Technology Bill. This legislation threatens our food, environment and medicine and has a direct link to mRNA technology.

It’s a trojan horse, rushing through products that have not been proven safe, dismantling decades of cautious regulation and New Zealand sovereignty. Mary Hobbs has a new post on our website explaining the irreversible catastrophe that could unfold if we do nothing.

Once the gene genie is out, we won't get it back in the bottle. NZDSOS billboard set up on Maramarua on State Highway 2 courtesy of Nova Mech Design.

If you’re travelling near Maramarua on State Highway 2, you can check out our billboard encouraging people to send in their feedback on the Gene Technology Bill going through parliament now. Pictured is Anna McLoughlin, NZDSOS Communications Advisor, in front of the sign. A huge shout out to Nova Mech Design for sponsoring the sign!

We need your voice to help stop this. If you haven’t yet made a statement, the opportunity to provide your thoughts before the Health Select Committee ends on Monday, 17 February 2025, at 11:59 pm. Act now to make your voice heard (details to make your statement are enclosed).

Have you added your statement? Let us know in the comments below.

History offers lessons we must not ignore.

The brave resistance of the Whakaminenga Health Council during the Covid era reminds us of the power of standing firm. Their courage continues to inspire. Dr Anna Goodwin highlights their fight for autonomy and justice in a superbly well-written article on our website.

Finally, the failures linked to provisional vaccine consent expose a calculated dismantling of our safeguards.

In May 2021, after the High Court ruled against mass deployment, the government rushed through legislation in a single day to remove key protective phrases from the Medicines Act.

While officials repeated “safe and effective” to the public, they had explicitly waived all requirements for safety testing, quality control, and efficacy reports.

Even the Attorney General admitted no legal advice was sought before this unprecedented use of provisional consent.

The system didn’t fail – it was deliberately bypassed, leaving five million New Zealanders as test subjects with compromised safety oversight. We must demand accountability from those who pushed through these changes and ensure such exploitation of provisional consent never happens again.

This is the time to act. Share these stories, present your statements to decision makers, and take part in effecting real change. Every effort strengthens our collective stand.

Our movement has grown to become one of mass awakening. With #AllHandsOnDeck, we can stop the harms and protect the health and freedom of future generations.

Sincerely,

Dr Alison Goodwin
