The rising case numbers of covid-19 in New Zealand has resulted in the government doubling down on its mask wearing as this appears the only thing that is left in this charade of avoiding the virus at all costs. Coupled with the governments narrative being pushed by mainstream media we have had some classic comments from our ‘experts’ in recent days, one such comment by Professor Michael Baker has likened not wearing masks to drink driving. Thank you professor, now please show us the evidence to back your claims up.

Perhaps those irresponsible and dangerous people Professor Michael Baker refers to have consulted the literature, read the evidence, investigated the data and made a fully informed decision for themselves, that the risks outweigh the benefits. Read here about the Foegen Effect of mask wearing and see Dr Paul Alexanders review More than 150 Comparative Studies and Articles on Mask Ineffectiveness and Harms.

We encourage all New Zealanders to do their research, use good judgement and common sense and to take comments from ‘experts’ with a grain of salt especially when their intentions are clear to make us a compliant “mask-wearing society“.
