Correspondence with Office of the Ombudsman in Response to June 8 & 14 Open Letters
On receipt of our documents, the office of the Ombudsman requested that we fill out an online form before any action was taken. We advised that we were attempting to engage with medical authorities and that that Peter Boshier, Chief Ombudsman, be made personally aware of our correspondence.
We did however, get a case number: 554238

To whom it may concern,
It appears that you have sent us a copy of your email for the Ombudsman’s information only, and accordingly we will not take any action at this stage.
If we have misunderstood the situation and you are seeking an Ombudsman’s intervention, then please provide full details of your complaint via our online form, or post (to PO Box 10152, Wellington 6043).
We will then assess the matter and let you know if an Ombudsman can assist.
Yours sincerely

To the Office of the Ombudsman
Thank you for acknowledging receipt of our documents.
Due to the public risk of serious harm and even life-threatening consequences relating to the matters that have been raised we have also emailed the Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier directly so he is made personally aware of our documents.
Our initial attempts to engage in debate and dialogue with New Zealand medical authorities were generally met with silence. We are attempting to engage with them again and will file an urgent complaint with your office if there is no meaningful response from the relevant agencies.
Please acknowledge when Peter Boshier has been made aware of the documents.
Yours sincerely;
New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out with Science (NZDSOS)
