To: Human Rights Commissioner – A Curt Reply

After the office of the Human Rights Commissioner (HRC) replied to our letter of complaint, in effect fobbing us off and aligning themselves with the government instead of actually doing their job of holding the government to account, a frustrated member of the NZDSOS Steering Committee replied.
We point out that the very fact that the HRC is overwhelmed may be cause for concern rather than dismissal of our concerns.

Dear Mrs.
Is your answer to our evidence based letter, after almost 4 months, a joke?
Has it crossed your mind that the overwhelming number of letters that you use as an excuse are also proof of systemic failure to protect human rights in New Zealand??
